1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FixLand, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our platform.
2. Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.
3. For Clients
Clients may post job requests and communicate with tradespeople through our platform. You agree to provide accurate descriptions of work needed and to pay for completed work as agreed. Reviews must be honest and fair.
4. For Tradespeople
Tradespeople must maintain valid certifications and insurance as required for their trade. You agree to provide honest pricing, quality workmanship, and timely service. A platform commission applies to all completed jobs.
5. Payments
Payments are processed through Stripe or recorded as cash transactions. A platform commission (as displayed in your account settings) is applied to each completed job. Refunds are handled through our dispute resolution process.
6. Disputes
In the event of a dispute between a client and tradesperson, either party may open a dispute through the platform. Our admin team will review the case and may issue refunds or account actions as appropriate.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the platform for illegal activities, harassment, spam, fraud, or to circumvent our payment system. Accounts found violating these terms may be suspended or banned.
8. Limitation of Liability
FixLand acts as a marketplace connecting clients with tradespeople. We are not responsible for the quality of work performed or for disputes between parties, though we provide a dispute resolution mechanism.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
